This Privacy Policy describes how CareerCoach.cloud ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares your information when you use our website and services.
Information We Collect
Information You Provide
When you use our career roadmap generator, we collect the information you enter in the intake form, including:
- Current role, desired career, age, location, education
- Skills, years of experience, industry, budget, timeline
- Reason for career change
When you make a purchase, Stripe (our payment processor) collects your payment information. We do not store credit card numbers.
Information Collected Automatically
- Usage Data: Pages visited, time spent, browser type, device information, IP address
- Cookies: We use cookies for analytics (Google Analytics) and to remember your cookie consent preference
- Location: Approximate location via IP address or browser geolocation (only when you click the location detect button)
How We Use Your Information
- To generate your personalized career transition roadmap
- To process payments via Stripe
- To improve our service and understand usage patterns
- To respond to your feedback or support requests
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Anthropic (Claude AI): Generates your career roadmap content. Your intake form data is sent to their API.
- Stripe: Processes payments. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
- Google Analytics: Tracks anonymous usage data. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- Fly.io: Hosts our application and stores data.
Data Retention
Your career roadmap data is stored for as long as your roadmap is active. Unpaid roadmaps expire after 48 hours. Paid roadmaps are retained indefinitely so you can access them.
Your Rights
You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. We will delete your information from our systems within 30 days of your request.
Children's Privacy
Our service is not directed to anyone under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
